Points Of View: The Toll The Coronavirus Is Taking On Our Mental Health

The spread of the coronavirus, the constant stream of news about it and the social distancing we are all now doing is taking a toll on many people’s mental health.

​

Anxiety, stress, depression — all of these issues can be exacerbated when there is a public health emergency.

​

So, how can we cope? 

 

To delve into that question, The Show set up a remote Points of View roundtable discussion with Jillian McManus, executive director of workforce development and health at Arizona State University, and Nika Gueci, executive director at ASU’s Center for Mindfulness, Compassion and Resilience.
